Arada is a real estate developer based in the UAE, best known for building modern communities in the emirates also coming with the new launch in Sharjah Tilal City by the name Arada Masaar 3. The company was founded in 2017 by Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi and Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal.

Arada is not owned by the UAE government — it’s a privately held company.

It was founded and is owned by:

• Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi – a senior member of the Sharjah royal family and Chairman of Basma Group.
• Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud – a Saudi royal and Chairman of KBW Investments.

While one of the founders is part of the Sharjah ruling family, Arada operates as a private developer, not as a government entity or under a government-owned company. It runs independently, though naturally it works closely with local authorities for planning and approvals.

They focus on creating large, well-designed neighbourhoods with homes, shops, offices, and plenty of green spaces. Their two biggest projects so far are:

• Aljada – the largest mixed-use development in Sharjah.
• Masaar1 and Masaar2 – a nature-inspired, eco-friendly community.
• W The Residences at Dubai Harbour
• Arada Akala in DIFC

Arada’s goal is to combine affordability with quality, while also paying attention to sustainability and the needs of residents.
